The Field Museum
The Field Museum was built to house collections from the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893. There are over 30 biological and anthropology exhibits where you can see dinosaur bones, check out the Fossil Prep Lab, and check out a 3D movie.
Art Institute of Chicago
The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the most well-known buildings in the city. There are two bronze lion sculptures that guard the outside of the museum, while over 300,000 works of art reside on the inside. Although there are many famous pieces of art in the museum, one that is always worth seeing is A Sunday on La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat.
